Hi,
You meant the CLI? In that case can send a Connect Message with the Generic Number, which will be the CLI over ISUP.
Hi,
Nop not the CLI. I'm planning to change the originating number. Does Connect Message can support it? Thanks.
Can you explain the application. I don't see the practical use of modifying the A number after A has already initiated call except for what B party see as A number [CLI information shown for B]
I'm exploring of having a multiple number on one SIM. Like having a two number series e.g. 888-1111 and 999-1111. If I call to 888-xxxx my caller ID would be 888-1111 and if I call to 999-xxxx my caller Id would be 999-1111. I have done this in ISUP. and looking for a way to use it in CAMEL.
So it is CLI,
E.g. If I dial 888-xxxx using any number Say A, SCP will receive an IDP with clg as A cld as 888-xxxx. Then SCP have to sent a connect with destination as 888-xxxx and the Generic Number as 888-1111. Then When 888-xxxx receive the call he will see as 888-1111 calling him.
Is this you application or have I understood completely wrong?
Yap it's the CLI :), and your understanding is correct. I think I have mess with the terminology. Thanks for the information and for your patience.
Is it in CAMEL V2 or V3 ? possible to fill 12 digits MSISDN in the Generic Field ? I need modify CLI in the Connect message
