pilot signal in CDMA

1. Before the mobile can search for a pilot signal, it must find what?what aids the mobile in this process?

a) Must find a SYNC channel(or system).The Neighbour list helps the mobile in this search.
b) Must find a PF channel (or system). The PRL (Preffered Roaming List) helps the mobile in this search.
c) Must find a traffic channel(or system). The sync channel helps the mobile in this search.

which is the correct answer?

The correct answer is B i.e. PRL (preferred roaming list)
