SMSC on CDMA network with ANSI and ITU

Hi all,

I'm trying to understand how to handle both ANSI and ITU SMS in a CDMA network?

I'm developing an SMSC for CDMA network and I'm very new the ANSI world, the operator is asking my us to provide them an SMSC that handle both ANSI and ITU standards at the same time. So the message can be revived on ANSI and should be delivered to ITU-GSM network.

I'm not sure if that should be done by provisional MSISDN ranges or NDC or something like that or maybe it shouldn't be handled by the SMSC at all.

I hope you guys can help with your experience.

You need to develop a converter interface to handle cross network platforms, usually SMSC's have this by default.

One of SMSCs features is ITU

One of SMSCs features is ITU/ANSI conversion so you have to ask your SMSC vendor whether this feature is enabled.
