How does the calling number gets displayed in Called MS? What are the messages are transferred from BTS to Called MS in which the calling number information is sent?

in IAM , you can see the
in IAM , you can see the information of A number ( calling number ). also the service CLIP ( Calling Line Identification Present ) should be activated ( as default ).

can i disable the calling party number display..
Is there any way so i can disable this for my phone, i mean can i do some setting so whenever i make call, my no. should not be displayed on called phone's screen? many thanks in advance:)

That is easy brother, you can set in your cellphone. go to setting, then to call setting, there should be an option about sending your caller id, pick it and set it to NO or disable.

Thanks, I Tried the same but still my no. is displayed on the called party's screen. Is it possible that the serving network has not provided/blocked this service.

hi Micky, Possibilities are that network provider does not support blocking of CLI by subscriber - it could be operator determined.If you working for the network then you can get NCC team to change for you from HLR end. Iftaar.../////
