I hope you are talking about GSM Mobile Roaming

There are two Roamers

1) In Roamer
Subscriber from other operator roaming in your network

2) Out Roamer
Subscriber from your network roaming in other operator's network

how to take a count of IN ROAMER and OUT ROAMER in a GSM network based on GT Routing

Counting Roamers is simple. For Inbound Roamers you'll get the count from your VLR. your VLR will directly give you the number of roamers currently attached in your network(regardless which vendor the VLR itself from).

For the count of outbound roamers, you'll have to get the data from your HLR. you have to count all your subscribers attached in some VLR other than yours.

These are the basic procedures to get the roamer count. many operators use several network element/analyzing and monitoring tools for Roaming. these nodes will give you the count directly.

Can someone explain me how the call flow takes place for an " in roamer " and " out roamer " in a GSM network.
