    Is it possible that I have deleted an SMS from my mobile and want to retrieve it? Does the SMS center store messages for sometime after delivery of SMS??

    Itz a customisation kind of thing ,depends on customer's requirement
    wher some SMSC's only store the msgs incase of retry mechanism only  and some SMSC's store for all the msg's (FDA and retry also).

    but now a days most of the operators r stroring around 24 hrs validity period because of the SMS traffic...
