2G RF Optimisation Engineer – Surrey

RF Optmisation and Planning Engineer is sought by a software house in Surrey. You will largely be involved in 2G frequency and neighbour planning and will be responsible for delivering RF projects. My client is looking for very skilled engineers who have experience optimising 2G and 3G networks rather than individual nodes; therefore, experience working in a mobile vendor or mobile operator environment is essential.

To be considered for this role, you will have solid experience of 2G RF optimisation. You will have detailed experience using GSM vendor equipment (Ericsson, NSN, Alcatel Lucent, Nortel, Huawei) and will have frequency planning experience. Knowledge of SQL and a scripting language, such as Perl or C++, is required. This is a customer facing role, so good customer facing skills is required. 3G optimisation experience would be a great benefit.

Please note that, due to the nature of this role, candidates must either be a UK/EU national or have a valid Tier One visa. Candidates must currently be living permanently in the UK. Please do not apply if you do not live in the UK.
