Re: how to create our own USSD service

Do you have SS7/SIGTRAN stack and associated hardware an also are you mapping to implement both TCAP and MAP layers or just MAP ?

Re: how to create our own USSD service

Hello,

thanks for the reply. I am new to this USSD service, so I don't have any idea about  SS7/SIGTRAN stack and associated hardware. Can you please brief me about what are the requirements for creating a USSD Service?
how to implement TCAP and MAP layers?

Do reply.

Thanks in advance.

Re: how to create our own USSD service

Hi Sheetal,
There is no straight forward answer to your question. If you want to implement TCAP/MAP layer then specification are available on http://www.3gpp.org
How about you give us details about what you got, that will make it easier for people to answer your queries.

Instead of SS7...if u think based on SMPP...

Hi Sheetal....have you gone through researches regarding implementing USSD based on SMPP rather than SS7.
