data collection from network for third party applications(billing)

hi
iam new to this domain and iam working on data cllection of differnent networks(gsm and umts).i want to know in details how the data is collected iirespetive of network and this data can be shared by diffenent service providers.i.e data which is used for network optimisation
 let me know if the question is not clear.................

What kind of data you are talking about?

Hi
It depends on the implementation. If the application has a provision to generate some tickets for different actions, then you can collect those tickets at a common location and then you can process the tickets according to your need. Most of the applications use a standard format which can be undertand by any application e.g. xml files etc.
