Telecommunication Service Providers

Hi, I'm a telecommunications student. Back here in my home country we have four telecommunication service providers. I'm wondering if it's possible to develop a mobile application for end users that is able to run on the networks of all the four service providers? Where can I get some very good software developers for telecommunication applications?

i am assuming that you are referring to apps or software

You can develop a software or apps for mobile application that cab run for any telecom service provider,
it is basically more handset dependent than network dependent so you have to make application for various mobile OS such as iOS(apple), Android(Google),Symbian(Nokia and other) and windows(microsoft) and more information is available on respective website.

Thanks Samipj for your post. But I still have a question. If I am a mobile virtual network operator, is it possible to come up with an application for prepaid customers whereby, a customer from one telecoms service provider is able to send top-up airtime to another prepaid customer who is on a different service provider. Is such an application handset dependent or network dependent?
