Good question; I think that it depends on the end equipment that you are using. Overlap and en-block outpulsing are more TDM related types of dialing. Normally with SIP - for an initial call the client or ATA collects the digits then simply sends them in the INVITE. There is functionality built in (example when you access voice mail) after the call is established for the digits to be sent individually.

It will be really helpful for me to know about this and you really explained it well. I hope to get some more updates regarding this.

If your question is related to IVR i.e. After establishing the initial session if you want to send the dialed digits in one-by-one using SIP, then use the INFO method. the INFO method will communicate digits one by one to the UAS.
