why we use UDP instead of tcp protocol in voip ?

UDP is better in this case

Hi Ammar
because the voice packets should be transferred in real time without delay at the end side and UDP is faster than TCP and doesn't has control flow or window sliding, this only on transport layer but in the upper layer RTP is used in order to transfer the media.

Best VoIP

UDP is more secure and reliable than TCP. We are using Business VoIP phone service Annandale, VA which is satisfactory.
