will more bandwidth improve the voip service quality.

I am a network administrator for a call center. This is my first dealing with the voip service. The complaint by the staff is that internet speed slows down when phone service is used parallel with the browsing. Voice quality also comes down. I am going to recommend more bandwidth. Let me know i am going to do the right thing or not. Plz reply asap.

Steve...It may have more to do with whether or not you have CoS (Class of Service) or QoS (Quality of Service) set-up on your network.
