I want to develop SMS based auto responding system.

When some SMS is send to particular number +919?HuhHuh or whatever it may be
depending upon my location in particular country.
I would get intimation from SMSC about  in-coming message, which my application should be able to process and generate auto-responders.
There are some examples in Open SMPP toolkit, but for a beginner it is a bit difficult to grasp.
A small code snippet or at least a link to tutorial site will be highly appreciated.
Thanks
Sharad
