Data Coding Scheme in concatenated SMS

Hi guys, can I have different DCS in each part of the concatenated SMS? Will the receiving MS be able to put the parts together?

For example, an SMS has to be delivered, the 1st part is in English and fits in 134 octets, then I can send it with GSM 7-bit encoding. If the rest of the text is in Arabic, I can send the subsequent parts with UCS-2 encoding.

hmm

I think I found the answer in TS 23.040 rel11:
"The TP elements in the SMS‑SUBMIT PDU, apart from TP‑MR, TP-SRR, TP‑UDL and TP‑UD, should remain unchanged for each SM which forms part of a concatenated SM, otherwise this may lead to irrational behaviour."
