Hi.

Is there any funda of SIm download for IS41 network (specifically for CDMA network).

I know there is as such no SIM card in CDMA mobile, but do we have support of configuring some parameters of MS?

Indeed there is, ANSI-41 CDMA and TDMA support over-the-air activation provisioning which can be used to program the MSID (Mobile Station ID) of the phone.

Refer to the ANSI-41 standards for this.. I'm not sure of the exact TR reference document.. there is a separate standard for TDMA and CDMA, but both follow similar concepts.. messages are sent to the phone with special encodings that provision the mobile.

 Some companies are developing something called
 R-UIM (Removable Universal Identification Module)
 for the CDMA world, is like the SIM, but I dont
 think it is available yet.

 The current counterpart technology
 is OTA. Check IS-683 for the CDMA air interface spec,
 or IS-725 for the CDMA IS-41-OTA spec.

SIM Download is possible, and SIM is supported also as RUIM in the CDMA world.
However, as a user I am also trying to get a message exchanged between the ESME and the MS, but the message is getting rejected by the SMPPv3.4 supported SMSC.

I am providing the UDH in the message (CDMA refers to ETSI specs for UDH), and I get an error code 8 (system error).

What could it be:::Huh
