hi all,

i'm trying to develop a CDMA SMS-Gateway, but it hard to find the document related to SMS data on CDMA

does anybody knows the similar document for GSM 03.38 and GSM. 03.40 on CDMA???

i need to know the structure of the SMS data, DCS, etc on CDMA

ANSI-41D or later will give the layout of the SMDPP_I and related MAP messages.

Then IS637 should carry the bearerdata specifics for CDMA.. the TDMA equivalent would be IS136.

See SMPP V5.0 references section at front.. that contains the latest known version references at time of release.

I haven't a clue where you can get them however... they used to be for sale for quite a bit of cash.. $700 upwards!

I hope that they are made freely available in the same 3gpp.org has re-branded musy of the ETSI GSM documents and made them freely available.

If you do locate a source.. then add a not to this thread so it can be added to the FAQ

It is IS-637 or IS-637B which is CDMA equilant to GSM-03.40.
It is IS-136 which is TDMA equilant to GSM-03.40.
